About Us
We are a small team of very experienced transcribers based in North Yorkshire. As a family-based firm we feel we can give a personal approach and consistency to our work.
All transcribers have excellent computer and keyboard skills, producing work that is not only accurate but easy to read, with correct spelling and punctuation. Transcribers take an intelligent interest in the recordings they are working on, and will research unfamiliar terms to ensure our transcripts are as accurate as possible.
We also offer a full range of secretarial tasks, including copy typing, audio typing, proofreading.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
We are aware of the importance of maintaining confidentiality at all times. All transcribers have signed a confidentiality agreement with us.
We are registered with the ICO under the Data Protection Act and will comply with all their requirements. Our policy is to delete audio recordings one month after transcription is complete, and to retain a copy of the transcription for six months before deletion. We are, however, happy to comply with any specific requirements of your organisation's Data Controller with respect to data deletion, the sending of recordings to us and the return of transcripts.

We are delighted that the majority of our work comes from returning clients and from recommendations.
We work for a range of organisations and individuals, from universities (University of Oxford and University of Manchester, for example) to research organisations, media and learning consultants, PhD students, colleges, and professionals in many different fields.
